40°C Heat, Zero Compromise — Bringing the World's Largest Net-Positive Building to Life




From June 26 to July 3, 2026, the Parans engineering team traveled to Dubai to complete on-site installation and acceptance of the SP4-40.2 natural sunlight system at DEWA Headquarters — the Al Sheraa Building, hailed as the world's largest, tallest, and smartest net-positive government building. Working through 40°C heat and sudden sandstorms, the team handled every real-world challenge on site: repairing an accidentally broken fiber cable by hand-polishing a splice connector, recalibrating the sun-tracking system to fix a mid-afternoon critical alarm, leveling an uneven equipment base with steel framing and concrete, and coordinating closely with owner DEWA, design firm Atkins, and contractor VOLTAS to resolve on-site discrepancies between the installation slots and the drawings.
The result speaks for itself: on-site measurements recorded illuminance of up to 6,125 lux at 10cm from the light strip — genuine, full-spectrum sunlight with zero blue-light hazard, delivering both a healthier lighting experience and a striking visual aesthetic to the building's auditorium courtyard façade. With final documentation handed over and acceptance signed off, this milestone proves Parans' sunlight technology can perform reliably even in the harshest climates, further cementing the company's position as a technology leader in sustainable, high-performance architecture across the Middle East and beyond.
